Louise Lawlor

I have an interest in human interactivity and how the natural and digital can come together to contrast or compliment. Questioning the human and its place in the world through an experimental approach and the combination of digital based interactive outputs and physical materials based sculptural elements. I am currently exploring the body, the stresses enacted within and upon it, through a transformative texture led 3-dimensional space.

Through my work I have explored theoretical concepts such as sensation, ethics of the human and non-human and ahuman theory. I am keen to combine practice based methodologies in order to produce outcomes that an audience can interact with, leaving them considering their ethical impact on the experience.
